Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This policy describes how ManLogue (manlogue.com) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or join the site. It is written for this product as it works today.

Who we are

ManLogue is operated from manlogue.com. For privacy questions, access, or deletion requests, email hello@godlogue.com.

What we collect

What we store depends on how you use the site.

  • Visitors: pages you open, and Google Analytics data only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Accounts: email, password (stored by our auth provider, not in plain text), public screen name, and that you accepted the confession of faith, community commitment, Terms, and this policy.
  • Content you submit: posts, comments, prayer requests, reports, and mail sent to a space’s posting address (which may become a public post).
  • Preferences: interface language, feed language, and (later) book reader settings.

What others can see

Your screen name is public. Your email is hidden from other members.

Guest comments (from people who are not members) are private to the post author, the commenter, and site operators. Members’ comments follow each space’s guidelines; a post owner may hide a comment.

Religious and other sensitive data

Membership requires a confession that you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That is information about religious belief. We collect it only as a condition of joining, with your explicit checkbox, so we can operate a confessed-Christian membership. Guests may still view the site and leave private comments without confessing.

Why we use this information

We use it to run ManLogue: create and verify accounts, show public names and posts, send transactional email (verification and password reset), moderate reports, apply write restrictions after repeated violations, and — only if you accept — understand aggregate site use through Google Analytics.

We do not send marketing email. Transactional mail does not need a separate marketing opt-in.

Who processes data for us

We use these processors to operate the service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database (hosted in Canada, ca-central-1).
  • Cloudflare — site hosting and email routing. Book text storage will be added when the library is loaded.
  • Google Analytics — page-use measurement, only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

Cookies and analytics

Sign-in cookies are necessary for a logged-in session. They are not used for advertising.

Google Analytics is optional. It loads only after you choose Accept on the analytics banner. Decline (or ignoring the banner) means we do not load Google Analytics. You can change this later from Analytics in the site footer.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google Analytics advertising features.

Age

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect account data from children under 14. If you believe a child under 14 has an account, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep data and your rights

We keep account and content data while your account is active. Email us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated personal data. We may retain limited records needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.

Depending on where you live (including Korea, Canada, California, and the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated policy for future use. We may also ask members to re-agree when the change is significant.
